How Does Half Price Wednesday Work?

Half Price Wednesday is a flash-sale event offering limited-time deals from local businesses — all at 50% off!
Because traffic can be high, only a limited number of shoppers can access the site at once. You may be placed in a virtual waiting room if the site reaches capacity. Please don’t refresh or open multiple tabs — it’ll slow things down for everyone.

To increase your chances of grabbing the deals you want:

  • Log in and be ready a few minutes before the sale starts.
  • Pre-register for an account so checkout is faster.

How Will I Know When the Sale Starts?

Does Adding Items to My Cart Hold Them for Me?

No — items in your cart aren’t reserved until checkout is complete.
We recommend buying immediately to secure your deal before moving on to the next.


I Tried to Buy a Voucher Right Away, but It Still Said “Sold Out.” Why?

Each merchant provides a limited number of vouchers, and some deals sell out within minutes — just like concert tickets.
If this happens, don’t worry — new deals are added regularly, so keep an eye out next time!


My Card Was Declined — What Should I Do?

First, double-check that your billing address matches your credit card information. If it still doesn’t work, please email reception@moosemediafsj.ca and we’ll help troubleshoot.


I’m Getting a “One or More Items in Your Cart Are Sold Out” Message. What Now?

That means another shopper completed their purchase before you did. Please remove the sold-out item(s) from your cart and try again.


I Want to Buy More Vouchers, but the Site Won’t Let Me. Why?

Each merchant sets a limit on how many vouchers a single customer can buy — some are unlimited, others have a 1-voucher limit to give more people a chance to save. If you’re a frequent shopper, check back often — new quantities may open up.


How Do I Redeem My Vouchers?

Most vouchers can be printed or shown digitally.
To print your voucher:

  1. Log in to your account on HalfPriceWednesday.ca.
  2. Click My Vouchers in the top right corner.
  3. Choose the voucher you want and click Print.

Some offers require pick-up at our radio station or have specific redemption rules — always read the fine print for details.
If you accidentally lose or damage a printed voucher, email reception@moosemediafsj.ca for help.


I Can’t Find or Print My Voucher — What Should I Do?

Check your inbox (and spam folder) for your confirmation email — it can take up to 30 minutes after purchase.
You can also log in to HalfPriceWednesday.ca and view all your purchases under My Vouchers.
If your purchase was made more than nine months ago, it may appear under Archived Vouchers.

Do My Vouchers Expire?

Expiration dates vary by business. Always check the specific terms printed on each voucher.
Once a voucher has expired, it can’t be reissued or refunded.
All expiration terms follow provincial and federal laws.


What Is Your Refund Policy?

We offer refunds within 24 hours of purchase.
If a business permanently closes or cannot honour a valid voucher, we’ll provide an exchange or refund for the original value.
After one year, expired vouchers are no longer eligible for refunds or exchanges.


What If My Voucher Is Refused by a Partner?

If a participating business refuses to honour your valid voucher, please contact us immediately at reception@moosemediafsj.ca.
We’ll work with the partner to resolve the issue. In rare cases where it can’t be resolved, we’ll issue a refund for your purchase.
